MIUA is the principal UK forum for communicating research progress within the community interested in image analysis applied to medicine and related biological science. The meetings are designed for the dissemination and discussion of research in medical image understanding and analysis, and aims to encourage the growth and raise the profile of this multi-disciplinary field by bringing together the various communities, including

Technical Papers (6 pages) are solicited on any topic within the scope of the conference. Each paper will be evaluated by three reviewers.

Review Papers (8 pages) are also welcome. The main body of review papers may not exceed the 6 page limit, but the total length may be up to 8 pages including references.

Challenge Abstracts (2 page) are also solicited. These should outline a challenge to the image analysis community from a clinical or end-user perspective.
